Rivers like Gitchigami Ziibi (St. Louis River) hold many stories, but not all stories have been told equally. Come hear stories about Gichigami Ziibi that are vitally important for our understanding of the history of this land and our ways of relating to it. This evening of storytelling about Gichigami Ziibi’s rich history and future will help mark the 100th Anniversary of Jay Cooke State Park’s Swinging Bridge, and lift up cultural teachings that can point the way towards life-honoring principles and practices for all to share.

5-6pm Water Commitment Ceremony
6-7pm Community Potluck Feast
